MagneRide Bypass for 2021+ GM SUVs & C8 Corvette
The OBD/SS Carbon is an OBD-based MagneRide bypass module designed for newer GM platforms where MagneRide logic is tightly integrated with vehicle speed and stability systems. It is intended for vehicles equipped only with Magnetic Ride Control, without adaptive air suspension.
The module plugs into the OBD-II port and communicates directly with the Suspension Control Module to suppress MagneRide shock faults when the factory shocks are removed. This prevents suspension warnings and speed limiters that commonly occur on C8 Corvettes and late-model GM SUVs after a MagneRide delete.
There is no need for Ride Height Simulators if changing the SUV's stock height. The wheel displacement sensors need to stay connected and fully functional; sometimes, they are known to be damaged by road debris.
The OBD/SS Carbon does not support vehicles equipped with both MagneRide and Adaptive Air Suspension. If the vehicle has Z95 and F47, the OBD/SS Elite is required. Carbon is engineered specifically for platforms where air ride is not present. If you are unsure, please visually inspect your shocks or VIN search.
