MagneRide and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension bypass for 2021 and newer GM SUVs
The OBD/SS Elite lets you remove the four MagneRide air dampers from a GM SUV with MagneRide (RPO Z95) and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension (RPO F47) and run conventional or coilover suspension *without the suspension faults that would otherwise set. It comes in two versions, because GM changed the suspension electronics starting 2025.
*With everything installed and working using the EliteV2, you will see one "Service Leveling System" message at startup. Press OK once.
Elite: 2021-2024
The Elite is a dual channel CAN bus module. It connects at the OBD-II port and at a CAN tap under the front passenger seat, keeps the Suspension Control Module (SCM) communicating normally, and fully emulates the Automatic Level Control Module (ALCM). That lets the whole air system come out: air dampers, compressor, air lines, accumulator, manifold, and the ALCM itself. The SCM stays powered.
With the Elite installed there is no "Service Leveling" or "Service Suspension System" message, no Service Headlamp message, and no 80 mph limp mode speed limit.
EliteV2: 2025 and newer
The EliteV2 plugs in at the OBD-II port through the included splitter cable and emulates the four MagneRide damper circuits the SCM monitors. That prevents the open circuit codes C1034 13, C1035 13, C1036 13, and C1037 13. Nothing is unplugged at the modules: the SCM and ALCM both stay in the vehicle and powered, and no fuses are pulled.
The air side is handled mechanically. The air manifold comes off the ALCM and our Valve Block Cover goes on in its place, so the air dampers, air lines, and manifold can come out. The compressor and its mounting plate stay. The four factory ride height sensors stay connected and are zip tied at the vehicle's normal ride height, so the ALCM always sees a steady ride.
What you will see on the dash with the EliteV2
With everything installed and working using the EliteV2, you will see one "Service Leveling System" message at startup. Press OK once. No other messages, warning lights, or icons for MagneRide or the air suspension will show. That single message is expected, and it means the EliteV2 is working as intended.
