Vehicle Dynamics Module Emulator (Ford MagneRide Delete)

The OBD/SS Ford VDM-E is a dedicated Vehicle Dynamics Module emulator designed for Ford platforms that rely on a centralized VDM to manage MagneRide behavior. It is intended for vehicles where the factory MagneRide shocks and ride height sensors are being removed, but full factory drive mode functionality must be retained.

Rather than simulating individual shocks, the VDM-E replaces the function of the OEM Vehicle Dynamics Module itself. Once the factory VDM fuse is removed, the module emulates valid suspension data directly on the CAN network. This allows the ECU to operate normally without suspension warnings, fault codes, or disabled drive modes. Normal, Sport, Track, Drag, and Wet modes remain fully functional.

The VDM-E eliminates the need for multiple shock simulators or ride height modules. It installs inline behind the OBD port using OEM-style connectors and requires no calibration or programming. This makes it a clean solution for performance-focused Ford MagneRide deletes.

One Module.

Other kits require up to 8 separate modules and are more prone to failure. The VDM-E MagneRide Delete Module does it all in one simple unit with OEM connectors. Your OBD-II port will remain available and in its original position.

Track-Tested. Daily-Proven.

Whether you are deleting MagneRide for a coilover setup or prepping for track use, the VDM-E keeps your drive modes functional and your dash clean.

Install Guides

Quick Start Guide

  • Step 1:
    Vehicle Ignition OFF

  • Step 2:
Remove one fuse (based on your year) for the VDM located in the BCM on the passenger side footwell behind the access panel.
    2015-2019 - F25 (30A) GREEN = VDM
    2020-2022 - F24 (30A) GREEN = VDM

  • Step 3:
Install the VDM-E 24 Pin Inline harness, behind the OBD port.
It may help to remove the OBD Port, but it is not necessary for the install.

    a) Unplug the 24 pin OEM Female connector from the back of the OBD.

    b) Plug the VDM-E 24 pin Female connector into the back of the OBD.

    c) Connect the OEM 24 Pin Female connector to the VDM-E 24 pin Male connector.
