Resistor-Based Suspension Bypass
The Ride Height & Shock Sim Kit is a resistor-based suspension bypass designed for GM platforms. It electrically simulates both shock loads and ride height sensor signals to prevent suspension warnings when factory components are removed or modified.
Unlike our OBD/SS solutions, this kit requires a ride height trim procedure using a scan tool after installation. Proper calibration is mandatory for correct operation. The kit is best suited for experienced installers.
This solution remains effective when installed correctly, but does not offer the same level of system integration or long-term reliability as our OBD-based modules.
This kit functions as a GM suspension bypass resistor, designed to replicate the electrical load expected by the factory suspension control module. Matching the resistance values of the original suspension components. It prevents warning messages and fault codes when ride height or suspension components are modified.
